Problem with configuring WebDAV repository manager

hi,

I am trying to configure WebDAV repository manager. The IIS and the file share is in the same system of that of portal. I have done the HTTP system and webdav repository creation. But i am not getting the repository in teh KM. I went through the Monitoring - > component monitor -> webdav reposiory and under the repository i have configured i see that servers - Not started. What does that signify? Can you explain where the possible error could be?

Note : Also most of the time when i try access theWEBDAV published share through browser it says HTTP 500 error.

Hi Ganesh N,

you have not configured your WebDAV server properly.

You are using IIS 6.0?

In this case WebDAV is deactiveted but installed in the standard IIS settings.

Go to the MMC for the IIS (Internet Information Services Manager) and there in "Web Service Extentions" and Allow WebDAV.
