Dear Experts,
this topic might be dead as a dog, but I still have a big problem with it.
I have implemented several SAP notes on a Training system and when releasing the transport, I would
need to get a data file and a cofile for it. Nevertheless this does NOT work.
When trying to set a target system for the transport, the system won't let me do it, it would always
show this error:
<SID> is not a consolidation target
So I went to the domain controller, created a new virtual system. Then I created a new transport layer and 2 transport routes from the training system to the virtual system. One with the new layer and one with the standard SAP layer. Now I could set the virtual system as a target for my transport.
Nevertheless, when I try to release the transport, I still tells me: <SID virtual system> is not a consolidation target 😕
Please kindly tell me how to circumvent this, it is driving me nuts, as I already tried SO many things!
Thanks a lot for your help and advice!
hi @symon_braunbaer while wondering around I just stomped on your question
It looks exactly as mention in https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-q-a/system-not-in-consolidation-target/qaq-p/9446497
in the transport route settings, do you see the changes made in domain_controller?
in the transport route settings, did you create a target group consolidation?
if not, give it a try . if yes, can you paste here a screenshot of the stms routes seen in your training system?
cheers!A

Thanks for your reply, amontella96,
- yes, of course I made the modifications in the transport domain controller and I saw them in place. Otherwise it's not possible to make such changes.
- No, I did not create a transport target group.
From the link you sent me - the last thing which I didn't do was as a former member suggests:
After creating a request in PRD system, You have to create layer between PRD and the Target system. Then only you can.
Please kindly let me know your opinion. Many thanks!
