What's the difference when executing ME98 and Rm06EW47?
Refer to : http://scn.sap.com/message/14511465#14511465
I tried once that the write action in ME98 fail but succeeded with Rm06EW47(SE38)
If I am not mistaken then RM06EW70 is the archiving program that s taken when you activate BADI ME_ARCHIVE_ACTIVE
Still the old preprocessing program can be used. Changing it to RM06EV70 is optional as you can read in KBA 1646578 - Preprocessing program is RM06EV47 though write / delete program is RM06EW70 / RM06ED70
if ME98 is still calling the old program despite of having the BAdI active, then this is probably caused that the old report name is still assigned to the transaction ME98 in SE93.

Sorry that I made a typo in previous message. I was using and talking about RM06EW47.
I have checked with AOBJ. ME98 is linked to RM06EW70 to write.
The ME98 (RM06EW70) , which I used, cannot generate archiving session.
And RM06EW47 (SE38) , which I used, can generate archiving session.
The situation was cleared. Thanks for all replies.
