KeyFigures in Aggregate table

Dear Experts

While executing the query,it fetches data from the aggregated table.We do aggregate on the basis of characteristics(filling up),then how report fetches Keyfigure values.KF values only available in DB level(Fact table),then what is the use of aggregates.

I heard that aggregate table doesnt store KF value,report fetches only from DB level.Is that true?

Any lightings please?

Hi,

The aggregation is is done on the KF for a characterstic. So the aggregate contains the summerized data for that KF.

You find dim tables and a fact table for each aggregate you build. So, you actually have kf values stored in the aggregate tables.
