Hi,
I am new to protal and like to know which portal classes i can take to learn and get familiar with portals?

Hi Asif,
The EP learning can be mainly divided into two:-
1)Content management and
2)Content Development
Content management deals with creation of iView, Pages, Worksets, Roles, Users, System Objects, Business Packages etc. That means all the activities you mostly can carry out at the Portal side itsefl.
Content Development is something where you need to have some exposure to Java language( I hope you have this). For this you need NWDS( Netweaver Developer Studio) or Eclipse. NWDS would be recommended .
