how to monitor SAP MaxDB in solution manager? Are there any guides for it?

Dear Customer, 

It seems that there is no specific guide for MaxDB. Please see the following general steps and useful notes:

1. Install the DAA Agent and SAP Host Agent on the Max DB servers.

   1031096 - Installing Package SAPHOSTAGENT 
   
   
2. Connect the DAA Agent to SAP Solution Manager. 
   2385361 - How to connect Diagnostics Agent to SAP Solution Manager 7.2 system
   
   
3. Ensure that the Outside Discovery DAA Agent process is running correctly locally on the host. 
   1992342 - How to troubleshoot the Outside Discovery issues about Database 
   
   Or it is also suggested to switch to the Outside Discovery SAP Host Agent to avoid known issues.

4. Complete the MaxDB managed system configuration in transaction SOLMAN_SETUP.
   
   
5. Set up technical monitoring, including alerting.
