how can i improve my system performance

hello Experts,

today i faced one problem

i,e i got mails from users that my server is very slow

i checked

responce time--985ms

and no long running jobs and also buffers also fine

in my system all things are fine

now want to know to check how much network utilization required to my sap server?

i have doubt in network utilization ....i need help in tis way only

You can check in st06 -> detailed analysis -> LAN

Here you see the network throughput and also check for collisions on the network.

In case you have access, you can also check the network throughput on the switch and check if it is in line with the capacity of the switch and NICS of your machine.

All customers where I work for are using a gigabit connection between the servers, and until so far I haven't faced any network issues related to bandwidth. Are you still using a 100Mb/s connection?

Check ST03N - dialog

There you will see where most of the time is spent - in average. How much is the network time compared to the total dialog response time?
