Error message with Eclipe 2020-06 since updating to latest SAP Development Tools version

Hi,

I'm using Eclipse 2020-06 and updated to the latest version of the SAP Development Tools plugin.

After the update I see now the following error message when I start Eclipse.

!SUBENTRY 1 org.eclipse.core.jobs 4 2 2020-07-15 17:02:45.692
!MESSAGE An internal error occurred during: "GRUNT default location".

Please fix it.

Eclipse does not show any available update for the SAP Develpoment Tools but I still get the error message when starting Eclipse 2020-06.

Which version of the SAP Development Tools actually fixes this error exactly?

Hello Thomas,

Can you please confirm if this issue is already fixed ? I'm getting this error still in my system.

Hi, this issue is caused by the SAP Cloud Business Application Tools. A fixed version is available on this update site: https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/2021-09/

With this version installed, I don't get this NullPointerException anymore. If you don't use the SAP Cloud Business Application Tools, you can also uninstall this feature as a workaround.

Thanks,

Markus
