Enterprise Alias Manager - Not Responding

Hi,

When I select "Select Groups to Modify" option, BIST hangs forever for BI 4.1 SP04 systems. However, it works correctly when running against BI 4.2 SP03 onwards

System : 4.1 Sp04 Patch 4

Authentication : SAP

BIST Version: 2.0.8

We tried BIST 2.0.5 also but no luck.

More Info:

1. Tool was ran from the server machine itself. So I don't suspect it's a network issue.

2. Same behavior on other systems too which are running on 4.1 SP04 Patch4

3. I can see the below entries in the BIST logs but could not verify the reason behind:

Please let me know what authentication types you have configured in CMC > Authentication (WinAD, LDAP, SAP, or combination). I think I reproduced the issue in house with a 4.1 SP4 system. So I will look into it, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

To add to my findings, the issue you are facing doesn't appears to be present in the upcoming 2.1 release, it was only with 2.0.8. So please look forward to the 2.1 release soon, hopefully.
