Hi expert,
I tring to use Eclipse Oxygen, as the SAP Help Portal suggest (https://help.sap.com/viewer/42dc90f1e1ed45d9aafad60c80646d10/3.0.16/en-US/7c125dfc70061014b91491f476...),
but after install into Eclipse Agentry_70.16.8_EditorPlugin_x86_64 into it and loaded my workspace, the Agentry Perspective doesn't allow me to add some properties into a Object as showed into the following screen:
After I click on "String", the editor doesn't show me a new view with the new property and doesn't show me on the left tree view the new field.
Can anyone have the same issue?
Can you help me about it?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
Hi Emanuele,
The last SDK on eclipse is SMP 3.1 SDK . There were later fixed . Please look at the following link

Hi mark.pe ,
do you have some notice about the use of Oxygen with the newest Agentry Editor Toolkit?
I try to use Agentry_70.16.8_EditorPlugin_x86_64 with eclipse-jee-oxygen-R-win32-x86_64 but still doesn't work.
Can you help me? I installed JDK 1.8 release 191 (the last).
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Emanuele,
From the community I heard that some people had issues with the newer Editor and all they did was the following:
Either:
- Uninstall the certain versions of Microsoft Visual C ++ due to incompatibility (you may check what Microsoft Visual C++ you have - see reference: https://answers.sap.com/questions/596106/error-when-opening-agentry-perspective-in-eclipse.html
- Or try to check some of the fixes presented in our Eclipse Agentry troubleshooting guide: 1816713 - Troubleshooting: Eclipse Editor - Agentry / SMP 3.0 SDK - decision tree (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1816713 ) or in particular this direct link: https://ga.support.sap.com/dtp/viewer/index.html#/tree/739/actions/8050:8056 or this link https://ga.support.sap.com/dtp/viewer/index.html#/tree/739/actions/8050
- Or you may try my other technique where I normally turn off the touch screen of my laptop and sometimes this helps too on other install or feature incompatibility (check your laptop OS instruction on how to do it).
Regards,
Mark
