Hi,
I have installed Agentry Editor 70.14.8.2 in eclipse juno SR2. When I try to open agentry perspective, I get an error saying 'Unable to create the selected preference page.
An error occurred while automatically activating bundle com.syclo.agentry.editor (843)'.
I found some posts mentioning that re-installing 2008 and 2010 ms visual c++ redistributables worked but it didn't solve the issue for me.
Below are the other necessary details:-
- Eclipse Juno SR2 64-bit version
- Java Version 1.8.0_181 64-bit
- Windows 10 64-bit
- Agentry Editor70.14.8.2 64-bit
- Redistributables
Could you please help me here? Do let me know if you need further information.
Thanks,
Chaitanya
I would start with upgrading your Eclipse version to Oxygen and also making sure you have the latest available Editor plugin. The latest version now support Eclipse Oxygen.

Hi Mark and Bill,
Thanks for the response. It's a bit weird but the issue got resolve when I uninstalled ms visual c++ or 2010. The issue seems to pop-up from time to time.
I'll try upgrading my eclipse to oxygen along with latest editor to see if it helps.

Chaitanya
