We wonder if the Full load does remove the previous requests or data and bring over new data?
For example, we extract data from a R3 table by using Full load. 1st day, we load data to R3 table, then extract the data to BW, then BW data contains only 1st day data. 2nd day, we delete R3 table data and load data for 2nd day only, then extract to BW still using the Full load, then what BW data should contain? both 1st day and 2nd day data? or 2nd day data only?
Any answer?
Thanks
Hi Kevin
The answer to your question is NO.
You have the option of deleting a previous upload of the same data in the InfoPackage.
If you load to a cube all the uploads are added together. If you load to an ODS then a delta is automatically generated when activating ODS, one advantage of this is that you do not get double data if you load the same data twice.

hi All,
I am sorry that I forgot to mention that the data is extracted to a BW ODS other than a cube. When we conduct the 2nd day extract to the ODS, then the data with the same key would be overwritten, that would be out of question. My question is that if the 1st day data with different key would be removed from the ODS or still stay? Note: the update mode to the ODS is Full.
Thanks
