Datasource...problem.

Hi all,

i have a Std Datasource in R/3 but i have a problem in BW becoz of some error in the transfer rules so i wont be able to use that delivered infosource becoz of this problem.

i know that i can create a custom datasource in R/3 and extract the data to BW.

or else can i just use that datasource and create custom infosource and custom transfer rules in BW to extract the data...is it possible or else will there be any issues.

Hi all,

we even reported the error to SAP they say we need to have some additional components installed inorder to fix it but the problem is if we install that components then we have to make lots of changes to our other objects...so can sombody guide me how to do this..without effecting my other objects.

Hi Neel,

Just use the datasource and create custom infosource(transfer rules etc..) u can create. U wont find any issues.

Carry on by creating Infosource by urself.
