Has anyone heard of this issue? We are wondering if its a setting we can't find or if its something disabled in the version of Crystal we are running.
We are running Crystal Reports XI and they system will not send email reports to anyone outside its existing domain name. An error is thrown for invalid email address.
For example the crystal server lives within mydomain.com and can send email to anyone@mydomain but if it tries to send email to anyone@yourdomain it throws an error saying that the email is invalid.
The mail server and the local machine have no issues sending to what are known to be valid email addresses, just Crystal throws this error.
Anyone know of a setting in Crystal for this, or heard about this before? I'm concerned we have some weird trial version of Crystal or something.
Thanks in advance.
HI Scott,
The other domain account has to be configured with in the network where you are using.
As crystal doesn't identify that and will not be able to send the reports on email.
Ensure that the other e-mail account is identified or added with in your domain, so that you can receive it.
Regards,
Naveen.
