Hi,

Is it recommended to use CPI for on-premise to on-premise system integration? Is there any document for the best practices and also things to consider when using CPI for on-premise to on-premise integration?

Hello Suwandi,

You can use SAP Cloud Integration for OP to OP there is no constraint as such. From best practice perspective you can use SOAP, OData, HTTPs and SFTP adapter .If already these OP is in customers landscape its good to use Cloud Connector for inbound traffic wherever your application servers needs to be exposed.

Also you can consider Edge Integration Cell ( planned for Q4 2023 ) for further consideration where you want to control traffic within your landscape.
