Hi experts,
I m trying te cerate a transfer rule for the dataSource CO_PA Baseline (1_CO_PA100GTRI), but I m getting the following:
I have created the COPA datasource by following this link: http://vinaysapbw.blogspot.in/2007/08/creating-co-pa-datasource.html
Thank you for you help.
Abdess,
Hello Abdess,
We are implementing RDS for BI, we have problems in B48_BW730_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_XX guide, CO-PA section. We had the same error as you about 4.2.7 Creating Transfer Rule for CO-PA Datasource:
So we have to generate the infosource in the Other option:
We don't know how to map these fields: ZG_AVVFGS, ZG_AVVMAT, ZG_AVVOCF, ZG_AVVN10, ZG_AVVN20, ZG_AVVN30 because the guide only mention to create them but not how to mapping them.
Then in section 5.1 Profitability Analysis Webi (CO-PA) appear some infoobjects (0G_AVV010, 0G_AVV020, 0G_AVV030, 0G_AVV040, 0G_AVV910, 0G_AVV950, 0G_AVV270, 0G_AVV360, 0G_AVV364, 0G_AVV170) we have read that these infoobjects are generated automatically when we activate the CO-PA Baseline datasource, but we couldn't find them after the activaction of this datasource. How did you do this part Abde?

Hello Juan,
You have successfulsy created a transfer rule, By choosing "Others", now you have to assign infoObjects to each infoSource fields.
Expand "Transfer_Structure/Transfer_Rule" and select the "Transfer rules" Tab, for each field not assigned, you have to assign an InfoObject.
the InfoObjects, ZG_AVVMAT ...Etc, that you created, it's just an exapmle for InfoObjects that you have to create, because not all the dataSource fields have their correspending infoObjects in BW systems.
So, for each dataSource field, for example: MATGF: Fixed material Overhead, you have to search withen InfoObjects that are in the system:
If you find it, so you just assign the infoObjects at the dataSource field, if not, you have to create an InfoObject with the same characteristics.
You have to assign all dataSource fields.
After you assign infoObjects to all fields, you select all infoObjects in the left table, and you click on the arrow ( <==) to transfer these infoObjects to the communication structure.
Note:
You maybe have not the same infoObjects as the document guide, because the operating system is different.
After doing that, you create you transformation to the InfoCube, and you mirgate all the data flow
I hope it is helpful.
If you find it helpful or correct answer, please mark it as helpful or correct answer.
Abdess,
Thank you very much for your response Abde,
Ok we understand that we have to assign all the datasource fields to infoobjects such created or existing, but we wanted to know what did you do to get those standard infoobjects with prefix "0G_" because we searched for them in the datawarehouse but not founded neither in the Business Content section, so we don't have any infoobject "0G_".
Could you please tell me how did you activate those infoobjects? Thanks
Juan Carlos
Hi, Thank you for your help.
I dont understand clairely the problem!
Am I using the same InfoObject to map dataSource fields to the InfoSource fileds?
The relation 1:1 you re talking about is beetween what objects?
I m working on SAP RDS for Business Intelligence, and in an activity I have to create a transfer rule for the data source COPA Baseline
Thank you again for you help.

Hi K Raman, Thank you for your response .
I check the infoSource Z_1_CO_PA100GTRI that correspond to the dataSource 1_CO_PA100GTRI (COPA BAseLine) and there is no field named as 1_CO_PA100GTRI !!
While I m assigning the infoSource to the DataSource, I chose Others (instead of Applictn proposal) and I taped the name of the InfoSource ...and it dosen't give me any error!!
After I migrated the dataSource:
Thank you for you help K Raman,
Same info object cannot be mapped to more than one ecc field in the transfer rule...
if you need same ecc field to be mapped to multiple info objects then it is achievable. Map the ecc field to one info object and then assign the info object to other info objects as per your requirement...
Thanks,
Nithesh.

1:1 connection in transformation needs to be unique
