Activate a new navigation attribute in a cube - now or later?

hi,

I have created a new navigation attribute in a characteristic. However all attribute values are still initial as next data load for this char is scheduled in two weeks time (attribute values are filled by ABAP routine).

This char is component of an old cube (loaded every day) and I want to activate this navigational attribute in cube. I am not sure if I can activate it now or should I wait till attribute values will be filled (i.e. in two weeks time)?

If I activate attirbute in cube now does it lead to generation of wrong SIDs in dimension tables?

hi Andrzej,

just activate/turn on this infoobject in infocube now.

won't generate wrong SID.

later attribute/hierarchy change run will re-align.
