1 characteristics in different aggregates

Hi,

Can someone explain me the following,

Say we have a characteristics A, B, C in an infocube, and we have built 3 aggregates on that infocube.

1st Aggregate contains Characteristics A

2nd Aggregate contains Characteristics B

3rd aggregate contains Characteristics A and C

My question is why do we need to add a single characteristics in two different aggregates ??

And when we do a change run for suppose A, both the 1st and 3rd Aggregate will be captured rite??

Points will be rewarded.

Hi,

No i dont think that if u run a change run for suppose A then Both the Aggregates 1st and 3rd would get captured.

Only 1st aggregate will be captured because the 3 rd aggregate is the combination of A and C

u need to run a change run separately for all the 3 aggregates.

i think ur Bussiness requirements would be like that.
