An eventful 2023 🚀 comes to an end. Plenty of exciting new capabilities have been added during the year and there are lots of excellent blogs in the community in December for SAP Datasphere.

A brief look at the 2023 Highlights

➡️ The launch 🚀 of SAP Datasphere in March 2023 was certainly the highlight of the year 2023, with the arrival the analytic model, the replication flow technology, and the catalog. Towards the end of the year we complemented replication flows with transformation flows, adding in-database transformation capabilities, and added more outbound targets like hyperscaler storage systems as well as Apache Kafka streaming.

➡️ The Data Marketplace 🛒 was also extended with private and internal sharing capabilities, enabling companies now to build their own internal marketplace of data products with well-defined contexts.

➡️ Space dependent permissions 🔐 elevate security and role handling to grant users different sets of permissions depending on the scope of their work in a variety of spaces.

➡️ The new Semantic Onboarding 🎯 app provides a central entry point to import semantically rich objects from your SAP systems and the Content Network, as well as Data Marketplace products from various contexts.
