Startup Performance Improvement
We've listened carefully, taken note, and acted to address perhaps the one nagging issue our esteemed users have voiced consistently - the startup performance of the dev spaces. Balancing speed, consistency, and stability in the startup process, we are rolling out a significant improvement to transform the way you interact with our development environment.
Akin to a winning sprinter, our modified version of SAP Business Application Studio is designed to take off with speed; the startup time of a dev space has been substantially minimized for all dev space types, nudging a quantum leap forward.
In this version, performance isn't just about speed, but it is also a testament to our commitment to serve you better. With your invaluable feedback as our guiding star, we've refined and fine-tuned the application to deliver a performance that is not only better but also much more consistent. This implies a smoother, more harmonious experience, making the switch between various dev space types a breeze.
Stability is another cornerstone of our new version. We've rolled up our sleeves, meticulously ironed out the creases, and emerged with a platform that's more robust and resilient. With better stability, confined to the annals of history are frequent stalls and unexpected glitches, ensuring a more fluid experience to help you maintain your productivity groove and ensure you can work undisrupted.
Session timeout experience
We are equally excited to announce an upgrade in the session timeout experience. For developers engrossed in solving a complex coding problem, any inactivity over an hour or a connection glitch while working in SAP Business Application Studio won't disrupt your workflow anymore. A swift browser refresh will get you right back into your dev space, eradicating the need to navigate via the dev space manager. Additionally, if the dev space has stopped due to extended idleness, you'll be intuitively prompted to start it, completely bypassing the dev space manager.
Quick Access
We all know SAP Business Application Studio is packed with productivity-boosting tools, enabling seamless and efficient development. These tools facilitate visual designs, connect effortlessly with SAP services and skillfully maintain consistency across various scenarios.
Adding to this convenience, we've launched our Quick Access bar, your go-to tool for common actions. With this feature, you will always find the right tools for your task.
When you've finalized the building blocks of the application, our Quick Access bar with widely used actions will assist you with proceeding to the next step. This incredibly handy tool can be accessed from nearly anywhere and used at any point, further simplifying your development process.
New Data Center in Switzerland
We're thrilled to announce the addition of our most recent data center, CH20, in Switzerland North. This newest addition to our infrastructure highlights our unflinching commitment to providing robust and versatile services to our users. The integration of CH20 will further streamline the process of creating business services and applications effortlessly, paving the way for superior data management and security.
CH20 expands our global reach, boosts data availability and redundancy. Users, irrespective of their geographical location, will benefit from enhanced accessibility and efficiency.
