In September 2023, the SAP Co-Innovation Lab North American tech community witnessed an exhilarating showcase of innovation and collaboration at the Hack2Build event focused on creating analytics scenarios and applications using SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. This event brought together 14 enthusiastic partners who, over the course of a week, built 15 working prototypes that were unveiled during two Demo Jam sessions on September 8th, 2023.

The Participating Companies

The Hack2Build Journey

The heart of this event was the intensive prototyping week that spanned from September 5th to September 8th. During this period, participating partners harnessed their creativity and technical prowess, crafting prototypes of solutions that showcased the immense potential of SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. What set this event apart was the invaluable support provided by several expert teams, including the SAP Co-Innovation Lab, SAP Analytics Cloud product management team, SAP Datasphere product management team, and the BTP Solution Architect team. This collaborative approach ensured that participants had access to the latest tools, insights, and guidance needed to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of analytics.

Hack2Build is a rapid prototyping initiative to drive early-stage inspiration, use case exploration and technology adoption for SAP partners. In these events, partners validate their ideas, get coaching and support to build the prototype, and get hands-on experience with SAP technologies. After the hackathon, they also explore how to package the solution and get ready for go-to-market.
