We are excited to announce that two of our most popular analytics courses are now available on learning.sap.com. These courses (Discovering SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence) include all you need to establish a strong foundation of expertise and even pursue a SAP Associate-level certification.

SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence is an integral part of the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform. This powerful ad-hoc reporting solution is particularly appropriate for self-service BI scenarios – enabling business users to turn their data into meaningful information.

Both courses are available as a two-day hands-on instructor-led class – either in-person or virtually AND as 20-hour interactive self-study learning journeys (Discovering SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence).

System access (for practice) is part of the instructor-led classes. For self-study option, course activities have been converted into browser-based simulations (practice on live systems available via Learning system access on Learning Hub)

Let’s look into the content of the courses in a bit more detail.

In SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence: Report Design I (BOW310), you will learn how to connect to a data source and select data for your document. After specifying which data you want in the Query Panel, you will learn how to display and present that data on reports in tables and charts. This course concludes with a basic introduction to data manipulation (formulas) and how to set up drillable reports for further analysis.

The follow-up course, SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence: Report Design II (BOW320) continues the journey with advanced topics, including:

  • Accessing multiple data sources

  • Advanced querying techniques (such as combined queries and subqueries)

  • Advanced formula logic (for example, Calculation Context, If-Then-Else, nesting functions)

  • Linking (report elements to each other, and to other documents)

Together these courses are the ideal preparation for the exam - C_BOWI_4302 - SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence 4.3 | SAP T...
