This blog helps you getting started with SAP Datasphere. After getting Datasphere tenant, we need  defining space for team to define connection, Data access mode, Model and views. 

Login to Datasphere Tenant:

Navigate to given Icon / Space management:

Choose the Menu option ‘Create’:

Provide the Name of the space:

Allocate Disk and Memory Storage:

Workload Management:

Set the appropriate priority based on space usage.

Users:

Add new users to space by clicking on the Menu option ‘ Add’:

*Scope need to defined for the users before they can be added to a space.

Database Access:

Check the tick box for ‘Expose for Consumption by Default’ , if you want to expose data stored on this space for reporting.

Database Users:

Create space database user to connect to space at DB layer or for external tool like PowerBI:

provide username and select the option as required.

Auditing:

We can keep Logs for Read and Change operation by default 7 days as required by the Audit team.

Multiple space can be created based on the requirement.
