I’ve read information about /SDF/ALM_SETUP and reviewed 3 background jobs running in S/4HANA and as it indicated in above Q&A there is no any available standard BADI / Enhancement for custom logic. Then Q&A owner even submitted improvement request — but there is no action yet!

Maybe these APIs are intended for a third-party application, an open source or an in-house tool but to in theory these APIs can be used for a custom / in-house tool for our S/4HANA systems too. It will be REST API developments.

Long story short SAP Cloud ALM needs more clarification in terms of custom enhancements of S/4HANA On Premise / Private Cloud.
