Hi, SAP
I have a scenario with the following parameters: I need to perform detailed scheduling of injection foaming lines with 10 masks that need to be occupied in conjunction with a respective refrigerator mold model. So, in the same time frame, 10 foaming masks must be occupied with a combination of refrigerator molds representing 10 planned orders operations.
I had prototype this restrictions using each multiple molds of same model as a work center with same number of available molds as capacities and, at the same time, a pool capacity representing the injection foaming line occupation of 1 mask, of 10 available.
However, there is an restriction that I am still not able to model, which is the maximum number of different models (or molds) allowed instantly of the same time frame: although 10 masks are available and perhaps 10 different orders with different models could be set together, my client demands that I must restrict maximum number of molds as 2 among more that 15 different models available connected with the same injection foaming line, due to production supply restrictions.
I was wondering if a PRT could be set in this case to govern which and how many models are been used during planned orders detailed scheduling for this purpose.
I am planning to use PPDS Optimizer for this scenario.
Is it possible? If so, how? If not, which other direction should I try instead?
Best Regards,
