Serializing Products in EWM

Hi,

Im not being able to serialize products in EWM. Following are the settings I've done.

1. I've defined serial numebr profile in ERP and EWM. The one relevant for EWM is populated in 'WM Execution' Tab in ERP and 'Storage' Tab in EWM. (Im using Serialization requirement at Inventory Level)

2. I've checked the SN checkbox for the relevant Item Type.

Now when I create a Inbound delivery in ERP and transfer the same to EWM, serial numbers are being copied to IDN but not to the Inbound Delivery. When I try to create serial numbers manually I'm getting the following error :

Please suggest what am I missing here.

Any help will be appreciated.

I believe this is wrong if you set the serial number requirement to C (at Inventory Level), this is only for A (Serialnumber on item level)

So it probably is a contradiction and leads to this error.

Hi Juergen,

Thank you very much. This solves the previous error. Now the document is getting stuck at IDN and below is the screenshot of the log. Please suggest some way out.

OK, that is the quantity profile. To your item type a quantity offsetting profile is assigned. This one must contain the quantity role SN. Check your profile, probably the quantity role SN is just inactive.
