Hello SAP Team,

This has reference to our production environment (PEW) where incoming Loading End and Departure messages for FO is coming almost at the same time from EWM-->TM.

Loading End was reported at 10:12:39 and Departure was reported at 10:12:50.

Can you please help us to know if there exists an identifier using which we would be able to differentiate a Loading End message with Departure message.

Dear customer,

Regarding your inquiry, two ways to identify the two messages:

  • In EWM TU, go to the PPF Actions tab, the action name of these two messages are different. 'Send Message to FOM (Outbound Only): Loading Completed' (/SCWM/SR_SEND_TU_FINAL) and 'Send Message to TM' (/SCWM/SR_SEND_TU_LDAP_NOTI)
  • In the message payload, Loading Completed message contains only 'AVR' item. Usually, this action is before GI. Departure from Checkpoint message contains full picture of the EWM TU including AVR, PKG and PRD items. This is after GI.

Further information about this feature, please refer to SAP Help Portal https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/710242522c478444e10...

Hello @SAPSupport

The statement "In the message payload, Loading Completed message contains only 'AVR' item." is not entirely correct. If early LDAP communication as described in the blog https://community.sap.com/t5/enterprise-resource-planning-blogs-by-members/early-updates-with-packin... loading completed message already contains all the loaded items, not only AVR one.

Best regards
