Planned order created from PP Heuristic not appearing in DS board in embedded S4HANA PPDS

Hello PPDS experts,

I am working with embedded PP/DS in S4HANA.

I am testing with an FG iand I ran the PP Heuristic from RRP3 to generate the requisite planned orders, which are seen on MD04 also but somehow these new planned orders are not visible on the DS board, even after I run it with the associated resource# and material #.

I can see other planned orders, belonging to other materials, which use the same resource, on the DS board but never the ones generated in my planning run.

Is there some setting that needs to be done to make them show up on the DS board?

I have played around with the work area, selecting the ones in the dropdown, adding my material in the list of products and also tried firming the planned orders but still they refuse to appear on the DS board.

Some guidance will be greatly appreciated.

You should check /SAPAPO/CPP and /SAPAPO/CCR transactions.

I hope your issue is now resolved, if the product is not appearing in the planning board as a first step always check if the PDS is correct with relevant operations and relevant resources assigned in the operation.

Hello Experts,

Just wanted to mention that I had used the control key PI01 in my recipe operations but there was no phase assigned to it. Once I added a new operation with phase and retransferred the PDS, the operations section appeared. I then ran the PP heuristic again, regenerated the Planned orders and now I can see them on the DS board also.

Hi,

Some basic checks, for the product that you running the product heuristic does it have a PDS ? If it has a PDS then it will pick that up and it will show in the planning board. You would need to share screen shots for any experts to answer correctly. Ideally please check the PDS and then the order will be visible in the resource chart of the planning board.

Thanks for the quick answer. I did check in Curto_simu for the PDS and I see that there is only a section for 'components' not for 'operations'. In fact on DS board it was visible but just appearing as a line because of which I was unable to spot it before. However, I think that this is so because of the 'operations' section missing in its PDS.

The standard value key used for the resource is also SAP001.

In the recipe, used in the Production version, there are 2 operations , with the control key PI01.

So, not sure as why it did not flow to the PDS when transferred.

Please guide.
