If you do not wish to manually recreate the source sheet. I figured out the following way:

  1. Open both Planning Views (source Planning View from which you wish to copy 1 sheet; and target Planning View to which you wish to copy that 1 sheet).
  2. Select the sheet in the source Planning View you wish to copy by right-clicking on the Sheet's tab -> Move or Copy … -> Select the target Planning View -> (move to end) -> Create a copy -> OK.
  3. Yes to All
  4. File -> Save as… -> Save the Excel file locally on your desktop (that is: do this for the target Planning View, to which the source sheet was now copied).
  5. Close MS Excel completely.
  6. Open MS Excel, log into IBP and the correct Planning Area.
  7. Now open your local Excel file which was saved on the desktop.
  8. A Warning shows (The system has detected that some planning view definitions were lost and has tried to repair the following worksheet:…") -> click on 'OK'.
  9. If a yellow pop-up shows belows the Excel Ribbon (SECURITY WARNING (Automatic update of links has been disabled)) -> click on 'Enable Content'.
  10. If a pop-up shows "Security Warning: Do you want to make this file a Trusted Document" -> click on "Yes".
  11. In the Excel ribbon/menu, go to -> Data -> Workbook Links -> and remove (that is 'Break') the link to the old source template.
  12. In the sheet which you have added, go to Edit View -> Edit Planning View -> make at least one edit, for example change the "To" period under Time > Time Settings slightly to 1 further or earlier period.
  13. You can now once again save the planning view as a Template or as a Favorite.
