Dear All,
I created 7 planned orders for an SD scheduling agreements, which has 7 pieces of product. Each planned order contains exactly 1 piece of product. I then set them fixed pegged to the scheduling agreement. But during Model Mix Planning (/SAPAPO/SEQ2), those planned orders are deleted. New planned orders with 1 piece are created. And the start time and end time of the new orders are different from previous ones.
I don't understand why the fixed pegged planned orders are deleted. Anybody can tell me why, and how to prevent fixed pegged orders to be changed during MMP and further sequencing?
Thanks
Jerome
Let me try to answer your questions partly with my limited exposure of MMP.
Firstly, every MMP run generates planned orders after deleting old orders and based on constraints defined. Secondly, whenever MMP is implemented, we need to divide the horizon into 2 parts - one in which orders are not changed, and the one in which you do replanning and recreate all the orders based on the latest business conditions.
Thanks,
Prashant Ghule
