CIF error : Location doesn't exist for external location XXXX

'm getting error in cfm1/m2 while transferring plant and shipping points Error during CIF: Location does not exist for external location ERP1 . ERP1 is my ECC plant .

What could be the possible reason for that?

you should list check in the SCM system if that location is not there at all.

--> run /N/SAPAPO/LOC3

--> if the location not there then you need to transfer the same via the imodel first.

--> in case there is already and active model and the plant is not transferred then you need to force the transfer via CFM) or report RIMODINI. That can happen because some queues where delete and the imodel was still getting activated without saved the location data in SCM.

--> if the location is there please check the loctyp a plant can not a loctype 1001 or 1002. If you change that in ECC and not the SCM then the location is not found because the loctyp is a keyfield in the selection
