Can I assign multiple WOCR to 1 WPT in Outbound POSC?

Hello,

I have a requirement where I need to assign 3 separate WOCR to 1 WPT in outbound POSC step. So that, 1 delivery may create separate WO with separate WOCR - but they should tied to the same WPT.

I do realize that WPT and WOCR has 1:1 relation in outbound POSC at first place so it can't be possible with standard SAP solution and hence, I am open for any suggestions to achieve this functionality.

Requirement Example - OD has 111 pcs of material A - where 100 EA = 1 pal, 10 EA = 1 CAR and 1 EA. they are stored in separate storage types with quantity classification in place. Client wants to create 3 separate WO for pallet, Carton and EA level and wants to perform separate POSC steps so how can I achieve this functionality.

Please throw some lights or potential solution steps and I will be grateful.

Thank you,

Jaimin

Hi Jaimin,

No need to develop here, the requirement is covered by standard.

From what I understand, what you need is the following configuration:

- each of the three storage types needs to have its own activity area

- define three different WOCR, each one with the same filter (filter on WPT), one for each of the three different storage processes (and activity areas)

- maintain WOCR determination sequence for each of the activity areas, so that each activity area receives its own specific WOCR

The storage process for POSC is not determined by WPT in outbound processes, but by the WOCR.

Best regards,
Jonas

Hi Jonas,

I have done all the config already that you have mentioned but POSC is not getting triggered if I don't assign WOCR to WPT.

As per above settings, system is creating 3 WO based on my need but they are not going to next step POSC step so it's not useful in my case.

I need 3 separate WO and they should follow separate POSC.

Thanks,

It's definitely working this way in standard. Check the following points or provide screenshots:

- Does the warehouse task contain the storage process? (Probably doesn't?)

- Does the WO contain the respective AA? i.e. Are the bins sorted?

- Does the WPT contain field storage control NOT = 2 (POSC not relevant)?
