Issue with SAP ARIBA analytical reporting, number of rows extracted does not match

Hi!

I have some issue with the data extraction. As i develop an analytical report and export the result in a CSV the number of record does not match the ZIP file extract, when i run the report in background, and i receive less records.

I experience this usually after holidays. Can you please let me know what could be the issue, and how/when can this be fixed?

Kind regards,

Peter

Hi, I have a similar issue, where the report is not pulling through all the information. Raised an SR, but will be waiting a life time for a response.

Hey Peter,

Two things come to mind for your issue.

1) If you're opening the CSV in notepad++, try with a different editor. You could also remove ActiveX for Reports so you can export in .xlsx format.  CUP-17662 and CUP-21666 are the features for that.

2) Analytical reports search has a limit of 5000 records. If you are nearing that limit and your records contain very similar lines (like PO numbers with only the last number different), using the search criteria "Contains" might skip some lines. If this fits your case, run another search with criteria "Ends with".

Hope one of these helps resolve the discrepancy!
