Bidder-Password Reset in TX BBPMAININT

Hi SRM Experts,

we have already created new contact persons (bidder) for the vendors via the Web-TX BBPMAININT. That process works fine but how can I change/reset the bidder´s password in TX BBPMAININT. In TX BBPUM01 is a functionallity like this but just for the internal users maintained in PPOMA.

Has anybody an idea how I can reset the bidder´s password in web instead using the TX SU01.

You cannot reset or change passwords using web transations in SRM.

You have to change it using SU01

Hi Jijesh,

thanks for you answer, maybe I have to create a OSS Note for that, because it is possible to create a contact person with password therefore it should also possible to change/reset the password.

Our purchasers are responsible for maintaining the contact persons. but they don´t have admin rights for TX su01 and they are not responsibilty for maintaining the EBP users.
