On October 24, SAP Spend Connect Live kicks off, bringing together our spend community for the first time since 2019. Over the last few months, I’ve been involved in planning the event, and I’ve been getting so many questions from our customers who are very excited to attend. This year, we’re bringing together customers, trading and solutions partners, and our employees, for 118 breakout sessions across all spend categories from direct and indirect procurement, external workforce and travel and expense. Customers will be presenting their procurement strategies and best practices, and you’ll have the opportunity to engage with our experts for hands-on labs, solution adoption, roadmaps, and see all the procurement demos to meet your business needs. New this year we have customer speakers and partners specifically focused on meeting the needs of procurement professionals in the mid-market space with demos and hands-on opportunities.
Not to mention the show floor experience with a dedicated section focused on procurement encompassing both our team, the partner community, and all the fun surprises! Anyone ready to try their golf swing?
Procurement is my passion. We’ll be addressing key trends in procurement, such as holistic supplier and category management or ethical and sustainable procurement with increasing significance for your organization. I am very excited about the 25 procurement sessions we have planned, including roadmap sessions for category management, guided sourcing, and guided buying, as well as customer sessions from Baker Hughes, Constellation Brands, and more. I am also really looking forward to our keynote where we’re showcasing some of our innovations, followed by a discussion with David S. McGettigan, Senior Vice President Pfizer Inc. But one of the biggest highlights of the event for me will be meeting customers one on one to discuss their procurement strategy. If I am not in presentations, you can find me meeting customers and discussing cloud-based solutions from SAP and how our solutions can help them become more resilient and improve transparency into their supply chain. Finally, it wouldn’t be SAP Spend Connect Live without a little fun and networking with your peers from the opening reception, always available dining, and our celebration night in the AT&T Discovery District with a selection of food that will surprise your palette.
