Hello

without an idea about the data model for "DG handling" you are not in a good starting position.

Check e.g. https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/2fd59f821b7d4ecd9b93fc0441b8c95e/7d25bf53d25ab64ce10...

and e.g. https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/2fd59f821b7d4ecd9b93fc0441b8c95e/8025bf53d25ab64ce10...

In a nutshell: you need a "DG_CL_SUB" and "LS_UN_SUB" object for DG handling

A must to read is this chapter as well:

https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/2fd59f821b7d4ecd9b93fc0441b8c95e/9225bf53d25ab64ce10...

If you do not use a "data provider" than you have a "bigger" problem. I most cases you need at minimum may be 50 LS_UN_SUB to support the portfolio of a chemical company. Based on the "Regulation family" approach: you might need as well at minimum may be 100 DG_CL_SUB objects.

And you must maintain all the data on your own. But before you start: you need to define which "DG regulations" need to be supported. For "Europe" you need at least: IMDG, IATA, ADR, RID, ADNR etc. data

E.g. https://blogs.sap.com/2014/01/27/dangerous-goods-management-intro/ might help as well

Have a good start

C.B

PS: I assume you would like to generate "LS_UN_SUB" objects. But without generating as well "DG_CL_SUB" objects: you will not get a result

PPS: e.g. https://answers.sap.com/questions/12904116/spec-types-allowed-for-dg-filling.html might be of interest as well

Same as https://answers.sap.com/questions/12121986/sap-ehs---dgm.html

and

https://answers.sap.com/questions/11286684/can-we-not-display-long-text-as-identiifer-for-haz.html

as well:

https://answers.sap.com/questions/3224104/ehs-dangerous-goods-hazard-inducer.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/8661327/tcode-to-change-text-of-hazard-inducing-substance-.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/3101607/dangerous-goods.html

https://answers.sap.com/questions/4104609/dangerous-goods-management.html

For "DG model" you must understand (under some circumstances) as well the "Hazard inducer" story (e.g. https://answers.sap.com/questions/11286684/can-we-not-display-long-text-as-identiifer-for-haz.html)

https://answers.sap.com/questions/2944977/dangerous-goods.html could be helpful as well

https://answers.sap.com/questions/4406377/dangerous-goods-un-no.html

The topic of "DG" data model is discussed very often here

Hello Tam

Please use the links shared by CB to understand DG data model deeper.

Answer to your question:

LS_UN_SUB - for DG regulatory data load using OCC/ CCC

DG_CL_SUB - for the classification of DG for each regulation.

PURE_SUB - Hazard inducer.

Hope this helps.

Best

Satya
