Dear Experts,
I have a specific requirement where I am able to create a cProject using the Project Management template from a Portfolio Item. Now from the cProject when I set the status as "Flagged For Transfer" I need WBS elements will be created in a hierarchical manner for cProject definition, phase and tasks underneath.
I have found below nodes, could you please help me that if this is possible using standard configuration ? I have no scope for technical enhancement.
This corresponding structure need to appear in cProject Account tab.
Regards,
AP
Dear AP,
you can find information concerning the Accounting Integration process in Wiki space:
And also in the Configuration Guide in chapter "Defining Settings for Accounting Integration".

Judith

Dear Judith,
Thanks for the help. This wiki linked helped. I am able to perform the manual account integration (if a PS definition already exist). But while I am setting the cProject status to "Flag to Transfer" as per the config a Project Definition and a WBS elements should be created, which is not happening
My requirement is to create WBS element for each Phase and and Task created in cProject. I am getting below warning, will this stopping ?
But the costing variant is present in OKKT also. Account assignment is important for me to perform the scheduling from cProject.
Hope you can help a bit more.

AP

Dear Anil,
You can call the controlling cockpit with transaction Cocpcpr in the ERP-system to
receive further information.
Call the following customizing in ERP-system:
spro > Integration with other SAP Components > SAP Portfolio and Project Management >
Project Management > Collaboration Projects > Controlling > Create and Change Controlling Scenario:
Check, if a costing variant is maintained for controlling scenario CPR1.
Best regards,
Judith
Dear Judith,
Really grateful for your quick reply. As per your first reply I did all the step (see below).
My PS Project field is blank under Account Assignment tab.
Please note that I used the same coding mask designed in SAP PS. Any further tips ? I am expecting 5 WBS element to be created while changing the status as per the config of Project Type.

AP
Hi Anil,
Just inline to what suggested by Judith, please check following SPRO Customizing in PPM Box.
SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Project Management > Connection to External Systems > Accounting Integration > Activate Integration:
For the required Project Type, the scenario should be "A" and Transfer Type = "1".
SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Project Management > Connection to External Systems > Accounting Integration > Define Object Links for Accounting Integration:
For "0FIN_INT_ERP_PS", Destination and Web server details should be correct as per the system landscape.
SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Project Management > Connection to External Systems > Accounting Integration > Make General Settings:
For the required Project Type, the Object type should be "0FIN_INT_ERP_PS" and specify Costing type / Rev. calc. type as per your costing / revenue related configuration.
Also in ERP box, please check following customizing.
Integration with other SAP Components > SAP Portfolio and Project Management >
Project Management > Collaboration Projects > Controlling > Define Controlling Scenario:
For the required Project Type, Controlling method should be "C", CO scenario = "CPR1" and Controlling level = "1".
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Aditya
Dear Aditya,
Thanks for your time and effort, yes this is all maintained as suggested by Judith.
Also I would like to inform you that my ECC and PPM both are in save server, Do i still need to maintain the destination and web server ?
However I am getting below error in COCPCPR. I am maintained the DFM setting for replication but problem is I am not able to add org. Responsible in cProject. This is stopping the PS Project creation.
Will it be possible in standard ? Please note that I do not have HCM implemented.
Regards,
AP
Hi Anil,
As per the error log, it seems that you have a Validation rule that is checking the Person responsible as empty field when project is created and hence fails to create the Project and WBS.
I would request to remove all validation rules or change the error message to warnings in validation steps.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Aditya
Dear Aditya,
Thanks, my prediction was correct and also you guided properly. I have removed all validation in PS and it has successfully created the PS WBS elements.
Just before closing this thread, I have below concerns;
1. Would it be possible to create WBS elements from cProject using the coding mask defined in PS ? Currently the system created the WBS element with system defined IDs.
2. The system has automatically picked Project Profile as "cProject-PS Integration", is there a config where we can define this profile based on the cProject Template ?
If you suggest I will open a new thread.
Regards,
AP
Thanks Judith and Aditya,
Your valuable inputs helped me to fix the issue.
Closing this Thread. Issue reolved

AP
