Welcome everyone to the summary of the PLM Influencers Awards 2023! After the resounding success of last year's event, we're back with an even bigger edition. This year, we received a fantastic entry of 48 Content Nominations in various categories, showcasing the outstanding content our colleagues have been generating for PLM.

Overview of Award Categories


Let’s dive into the award categories for this year:

  1. YouTube Sensation judged by Mike Fecek: Recognizing professional, entertaining, and fruitful videos published on SAP YouTube Channels.

  2. SAP Community Sensation judged by Mindy Davis: Highlighting outstanding blog(s) on SAP Community.

  3. LinkedIn Sensation judged by Ismail Serin and Stephan Toebben: Celebrating posts with high engagement and recognition on LinkedIn.

  4. Regional Sensation judged by Stefanie Otter: Acknowledging non-English content, including blogs on SAP Community and/or videos on SAP channels.

  5. Stellar Partner judged by Carsten Dietze-Selent: Awarding the best video or blog posted on an SAP Channel by an SAP Partner.

  6. Social Media Innovator judged by Patrick Maroney: Recognizing those who execute new techniques on social media to boost awareness.


Our judges had a tough time selecting the winners from the exceptional pool of nominees.

YouTube Sensation Award:


YouTube, the second-largest search engine, witnessed nine outstanding content nominations. Congratulations to all the nominees! The judge for this category, Mike Fecek, Global Presales Director, had the challenging task of selecting a winner.

SAP Community Sensation Award:


SAP Community, the global trusted network for SAP professionals, had ten content nominations. Congratulations to all the nominees! Mindy Davis, Global Head of DSC Marketing, served as the judge for this category.

LinkedIn Sensation Award:


LinkedIn, an excellent platform for developing and strengthening your brand, saw ten content nominations. Congratulations to all the nominees! Ismail Serin, Head of PLM Product Management, served as the judge for this category.

An additional award judged by Stephan Toebben in this category specifically for the topic of PLMSI. He is the Vice President Private Cloud SAP PLM.

The nominated content for the LinkedIn Sensation PLM Systems Integration Award includes:

Regional Sensation Award:


The Regional Sensation category, with a focus on providing product information in regional languages, had five content nominations. Congratulations to all the nominees! Stefanie Otter, Global Solution Marketing Lead SAP DSC Design, served as the judge for this category.

Stellar Partner Award:


The Stellar Partner category, recognizing exceptional partners in the SAP PLM area, had eight content nominations. Congratulations to all the nominees! Carsten Dietze-Selent, Head of PLM & Engineering, served as the judge for this category.

Lastly, the Social Media Innovator category emphasized the importance of continuous innovation in presenting content on social media. Six content nominations were received. Congratulations to all the nominees! Patrick Maroney, Executive Industry Advisor for High Tech, served as the judge for this category.
