RTC: "Other Dimension Filter" of IC Elimination rule not working for Time dimension.

Hi All,

Wish you all a very happy new year.

We are on RTC 1709 and BW 7.52

We have requirement to exclude particular period from running the Elimination and Adjustment rules. Hence we have added formula in "Other Dimension Filter" to exclude period. After adding the formula the rule is getting saved, and rules are getting executed without errors - How ever eliminations happening for that excluded period.

Our Time dimension/Object is 0FISCPER as we are on RTC.

We have tested period Zero (000). We are testing for period Zero as we are bringing opening data from ACDOCA with integration, and we dont want IC Eliminations to run on period zero data.

We have tried with below mentioned syntax in Other Dimension Filter" of the Eliminations and adjustments rule.

0FISCPER<>000.*

0FISCPER<>000*

0FISCPER<>????000

0FISCPER<>*000

TIME<>*000

Note: I have gone through SAP Node 2421499, which says to use TimeID instead of ID. However 0FISCPER do not have any time ID.

Sorry, but how the note 2421499 for BPC standard is related to your case (embedded)?

Note 2421499 is relating to standard BPC..Agreed.

BPC Elimination and Adjustment rule content is same in both Embedded and Standard, and I did not see any KBA from SAP for this issue, hence thought of following this note.

I have tried with different syntax and it is not working, let me know if I am missing any thing.
