How to handle Assets with multiple acquisition across use life of the asset?

Hi All,

We want to know the best way to handle Assets with multiple acquisition across use life of the asset.

We are using LINA as depreciation key for all assets. But the depreciation calculation is going beyond asset life and monthly depreciation for last year of asset is different from earlier years. The cause of this due to multiple acquisitions. Business needs depreciation to be calculated from start of the acquisition.

We gave some workaround. we want to what is best way.
