GRC 12.0 auto provisioning failed

Hi,

Recently we upgraded GRC system to 12.0. Observed an error in one of the access request, where auto provisioning failed with error - "password cannot be longer than 8 char and cannot contain lower case"( initial password was not generated). But some access requests were successfully finished.

I checked in target system and password parameter is as below.

login/min_password_lng: 8

Could you let me know how i can check logs? Also provide insight on this error.

Hi Ramesh,

GRC system is on V12.0 SP 7.

Following are the parameters in plug-in system.

login/min_password_lowercase = 0
login/min_password_specials = 0
login/min_password_uppercase = 0

Same parameters are maintained for the other systems for which Access request was finished successfully.

I suspect that you are trying to provision to HANA...Check the following note

and it would be great if you could provide us the GRCFND_A,Plugin details of the systems that's working and also for the systems that's not working.

The error clearly says that the password cannot be mote than 8 characters and cannot contain a lower case....Can you share the following parameter values from the plugin system and also share your GRC 12.0 SP level?

login/min_password_lowercase
login/min_password_specials
login/min_password_uppercase
