Goods Receipt Process Question

Hello,

We're trying to identify a process on BYD where we can consume POs at our manufacturing facility but perform the goods receipt once it leaves the supplier premises to record goods location and warranty start date (commences once goods leave tier 1 supplier facility). Currently we're delivering and receipting POs to our tier 1 suppliers and completing a manual goods transfer to our manufacturing facility once the goods have been shipped to the manufacturing facility. We'd like improve this process by removing the goods transfer function.

Dear Craig,

Could you elaborate on the process mentioned here? POs are Production orders or Purchase orders? you have mentioned about goods receipt and production processes. Hence, I wanted to get a clarity on this. Is this some kind of sub-contracting scenario that you are referring to here in ByDesign?
