Email on an event In BPC

Hi Experts

I have a requirement as below

.We take the BPC production environment offline for maintenance. The users are asking that they need to be informed by triggering an email when the environment is taken offline . Do we have a provision in BPC to achieve this ?

No relation to BPC! Use your mail server and outlook to schedule the e-mail... This is a standard administration practice!

Okay what if we have a date before hand which this needs to be triggered ?

Strange idea to send e-mail at the moment when the environment is going offline :)) Too late to my mind!

The e-mail has to be send at least 15 min before... And in this case BPC can't help!
