Editable Query in PaPM Cloud not working on top of Model Table HANA function type

Hi Experts,

I have created a new table in SAP_PAPM_ADMIN schema. Now I want to have a input-enabled query on top of this 'Model Table HANA' function type in my modelling to update or load the data. The option to active the query gets disabled.

I am getting the below message :

Please let us know how we can achieve this.

Hi Soundarya,

This is the expected behavior or Query function if editable option will be enabled. In case of other functions such as Model Table HANA, unfortunately this is not possible to enable the editable option as this is an external table and update or load the data is not possible using Query.

I would suggest to use Writer instead if you want to load/write data into your HANA table.
