This blog post is the updated version of EC Sales List Document and Reporting Compliance Reports Now Enabled For FICA. For the step-by-step procedures, please refer to it. This blog post aims to inform you about countries which EC sales list reports are lately delivered for Contract Accounting (FI-CA) enablement from 2023.
Recap of EC Sales List for Contract Accounting Enablement
Customers are used to working with EC Sales List reports in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance to fulfill the legal requirements. Document and Reporting Compliance reports enable users to create documents containing both financial accounting (FI) data and contract accounting (FICA) data in the output. If you work with both application components, the Analyze Data function allows you to also view the detailed contract accounting information.
Except for the existing column Document Number field, which represents financial accounting documents posted from Financial Accounting (FI), two additional columns/ fields are added to represent Contract Accounting (FI-CA) data section:
- CA Document Number
- Reconciliation Key - Each reconciliation key may contain more than one contract accounting document number.
Analyze Data Functionality Enhancement
Navigate to Contract Accounting Data via Document Number or Reconciliation Key
You can find the detailed information of contract accounting data in the analyze data section. By right-clicking on the selected CA Document Number or Reconciliation Key, select Navigate to, you can view the data described as follows:
- CA Document Number: By further selecting Display Document, you can see document itself and detailed data in each contract accounting document.
- Reconciliation Key: By further selecting Itemization for G/L Documents, you can view detailed data of the selected reconciliation.

The newly delivered EC sales list Document and Reporting Compliance Reports for contract accounting enablement in 2023 and 2024 for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA are listed in the table below.
The SAP S/4HANA column marks the available lowest releases. The reports are applied for higher releases. Check the SAP Note listed below to ensure the feature package or support packages.
The SAP S/4HANA Cloud column marks the first Cloud version. The country enabled for Contract Accounting is also applied for higher versions.
