Does SAP Customer Checkout (CCO) integrates to S/4 BRIM for Subscription Management/Public Transport

Hi

I understood SAP CCO has IS-Retail as a historical back-end behind it. Can it integrate with SAP S/4 HANA on prem BRIM subscription order management to add subscription products to new or known Business Partner customers (payers/travellers) using a material master product catalog?

In my project in the public transport sector we are looking for a solution where multiple sales channel applications integrate into the SAP BRIM back-end (where PS-CD for sublegder posting to A/R is active), and POS (with cash desk/POS payment terminals) is one of them. SAP Commerce Cloud could be the online self-service channel. In case a customer would approach our POS travel shop to sign-up for subscription contract, the contract data should be available directly afterwards via the self-service channels, so the customer can start consuming (e.g. tap via a mobile app to register start of a trip).

Many thanks.

Hi Eli,

CCO is also supporting APIs to fetch shopping baskets from integrated systems. However integration again has to be build e.g. with CPI.

Best regards, Harald

Hi,

there is no out of the box integration between SAP Customer Checkout manager (CCOm) and BRIM. CCOm offers generic APIs. Thes APIs can be integrated quite easy with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) with any other SAP or 3rd party system.

So that's the way to go integrate CCOm with BRIM, via CPI. For details you are welcome to contact me.

Best regards, Harald

Hi Harald,

Thanks for your answer. Would SAP CCO as POS payment/refund component also integrate to pay a shopping basket created by SAP Commerce Cloud ? We are investigating if the SAP ecosytem can offer the full stack of front-end components to support offer/order/sales/payment flows omnichannel, ie. B2C/B2B website, POS kiosk, ticket vending machines and external Maas brokers.

We already lined up a build of SAP BRIM on our S/4 back-end, but reconsidering the front-end build.

Kind regards,
Eli
