Hi all,
I have tried to use BPC Powerpoint with BPC 7.0 SP07. It seems that it doesn't work fine:
1- sometimes when I insert an Excel object (ie a BPC Excel EVDRE report) into a slide I just have a blank sheet.
2- sometimes the EVDRE report is visible but all group lines and columns are visible too. I have to edit the report from BPC Powerpoint to hide all unecessary rows and columns. In this case it seems that the report doesn't depend on the Current view of BPC Powerpoint. For example, my report displays the quarters which depends on the Time current view. If I change the current view in BPC Powerpoint and I click on "Retrieved all data" nothing occurs. When I click on "Expand all", I have an error message: "You should select the Excel object".
Have you already seen these problems?
thanksfor your help,
Romuald
HI,
I made other tests and it seems that "Expand all" command applies only to EVEXP() functions. It doesn't work with EVDRE.
Moreover, the "Retrieve all" menu refresh all report in the selected slide but it doesn't refresh other slides.
Any idea to use BPC Powerpoint correclty?
Romuald

Hi
Romuald Colletaz
We are thinking about applying SP07
Please provide more insight on why did SAP release SP07 so early after SP06
is there any particular issue that cannot be solved by SP06
this is important for us since we are in the process of applying SP06
your inputs are highly appreciated
thanks
Hi Ramuald,
I'm also facing the same issue. I am using "Insert BPC for Excel object" and embedding more than one report of excel in Powerpoint in different slides.
Although, i'm using Expand All option, but still its not refreshing all the slides of the ppt.
Please let me know about the solution that you applied in your case.
Thanks and regards,
Umesh Jethwani.
