Statutory Reporting and EFD-Reinf: What changes with technical note 04/2023

Hello,

In this blog post, let’s talk about the main change delivered through technical note 04/2023 and the changes in EFD-Reinf version 2.1.2.

Prerequisites

You have installed SAP Note 3412243.

What changes?

The Brazilian government has added a new rule to the dtFG field of the R-4010 and R-4020 events. It’s now possible to report dates other than the EFD-Reinf determination period in case the nature of income is related to profits and dividends (code 12001).

To be able to support this change, the PER_APUR field has been added to the following tables related to the R-4010 and R-4020 events:

· Income Postings/Payments with Withholdings (/TMF/D_LCTORENRT)

· Additional Information on Income Received (/TMF/D_P_ADMJREN)

· Non-withholding of Taxes or Judicial Deposits Processes (/TMF/D_P_ADMJU_R)

· Deductions Breakdown with Suspended Enforceability (/TMF/D_P_RENDSUS)

· Deductions from Taxable Income (/TMF/D_RENDDEDTR)

· Exempt or Nontaxable Income (/TMF/D_RENDNTRIB)

This change doesn’t affect events that were already created. However, the preprocessing program was also changed to fill the new field in /TMF/D_LCTORENRT. Therefore, after you installed the SAP note, the PER_APUR field must be always filled in for the tables mentioned above.

If you have to report this scenario where the dtFg field differs from the determination period, it’s enough to change the DT_FG field via BAdI BADI_FIBRREI_WHT-CHANGE_WHT during the preprocessing run or fill in the field through the excel importer.
