Hi !

I update name of chart of account on chart of account form. SAP shows error:

This entry already exists in the following tables  'G/L Accounts' (OACT) (ODBC -2035)  [Message 131-183]

if I update the name in Edit chart of account, it's ok.Some account I can't update in Chart of account form. I don't know why

Hi,

Please check the following query and if results are obtained, check the list if the G\L Account which you are trying to edit is appearing in the list:

select datasource, ActId, AcctCode from OACT

where ActId <> AcctCode

Hi,

Is your affected Account also coming in the list ?

If yes, then it would be better to log a support ticket to SAP using the Service Market Place to get the issue investigated further.

Hi,

Updating without support approval is not advised. It is better if you contact SAP Support for the query and sought approval to run the solution provided.

Hi Hong,

Not allowed to update/insert/delete any table in SAP. If any inconsistency in DB, SAP will not support.

Please raise ticket to SAP support.
