T code OVAG : Statistical value meaning ?

I am facing one issue where rejection code is maintained in OVAG T code with below parameters :

not relevant for printing : uncheck

open line item : uncheck

billing complete : checked

statistical value : X

Issue reported : when reason for rejection code is applying manually by some user via change mode --> it is updating the net value of the document.

For Exam: sales order having 2 line items cost 50 INR each. Net price of the order would be 100 INR. if I reject one line item manually then it will update the net value of the sales order to 50 INR.

However, if reason for rejection is getting applied by doing some user exit checks or background checks and getting applied automatically, it is not updating the net value of the document.

Need help with understanding the meaning of statistical value in OVAG.

In t-code OVAG in field "Statistics" with marked "X" its means the value will not be used for statistical purposes:

If I understood your problem correctly, this field should be left blank in your case.
